Figured i'd start up the wife's '77 Bronco build up thread now.

Atm tho. it's mainly goin to be cleaning and stripping out the bad to see what i have and will start a list and asking lot's of ?'s and suggestions from you all. I know i have floorboards and door jam's to replace. It had a soft top when we bought it that was pretty much rotten so i took it off. Just bought a Hardtop that will eventually go on it for the wife in the winter.

Don't be to hard on her, she's gone through some rough time's and someone stole the rims/tires off of it awhile back. I think i made a post about it. So i got some old stock rim's and was able to find 2x Free tire's to mount on the front so i could trailer it.

What i know:
Year: 1977 Ford Bronco
Engine:302 V8
Tranny: 3spd Still on the column
Xcase: Factory D20
Front Axle: D44 w/ Factory Disk
Rear Axle: 9"

What's a thread with out pic's. I plan on becoming a member after the first of the year but for now i'm stuck bringin them in from photobucket.

The day after we got it home and still on the trailer..

Looks like its already been cut a little as it tapers off to the rear - I like it! Hope you lose the flares though.

Rims look great with those ultra low profile tires!

Ya the rear's have been trimmed just a litte. Not sure if we're keeping the flares or not.

And yes we are not cutting it anymore then what it looks like now. The headlight has alway's been like that and worked for the longest time when the wife did drive it.

Plan's are to swap out the 3spd for some sort of auto, haven't really decided.
Ad a 3.5" lift and then the typical body work and a nice cage.

This will see some trail use, but obviously nothing to radical.

That's great. There's just something about the uncut look that is pretty COOL.
