My 2.5 system 5 just showed up! Happy as hell. But my wife threw away my paper that said the correct shock length, I believe it was 22 extension and 14 compression. I spoke with lee at raceshock today and he assembled me a nice package but I wanted to double check the recommended size. Thanks
Bob

I think we got you covered Bob, but to reiterate (in case someone can use this for reference when it happens to them too!), the shock lengths are as follows.

Rear shocks for a 2.5" lift using stock mounts:
Approx. length is 22.80" extended and 13.94" compressed.

Front shocks for 2.5" lift using our Extreme hoops:
#2 position (just behind coil spring) is 26.69" and 15.84" respectively.
#3 position (rearmost) is 24.40" and 14.79"

All measurements are taken eye-to-eye, since he's not utilizing his stock front mounts and does not have an early '66 model which uses a different rear mount.
Since Bob is sourcing his own shocks, all lengths are going to be approximate, as they correspond to our Extreme shocks. But they're close enough for Government work. As we used to say...

Thanks for the reply and the pm. I work nights, so I was trying to figure this out last night after business hours. I called wild horses this morning and of course they were more than helpful as was dirtdonks pm. I placed an order with lee at raceshock and his reputation preceded him. I got bilstein 7100s reseviors up front and 5125s in the rear. Just over $500 shipped to my door.
