Does anyone know of a way to support the windshield with just a roll bar and not the front cage.....could you just run turnbuckles from the dash to the windshield frame?
Thanks ghost! that is what I was trying to discribe to kilron...that should work perfect!! Looks great too ghost!ghost66 said:Hope this helps with what you are asking, these are two aluminium bars attached at the front to the windshield riser and then bolted to the roll bar.
Slight bend at the front to be level with the roll bar height. Works good for me

The alum top would always stay on even under the soft top. What'cha think? ;D

I've thought about doing this with smoke colored plexi-glass.blazinchuck said:Thanks ghost! that is what I was trying to discribe to kilron...that should work perfect!! Not sure yet. If I do it will be after the weather gets nice out. I'll get pics in my Project thread if/when I do.ghost66 said:That's an excellent idea are you going to do it? I would like to see how it comes out.
