I need intel on obtaining wire harness and PCM programming for a swap of a 5.4L or 6.2L modular engine in to EB. Chassis modifications are done so that the fit will not be a huge issue. :? Is the programming feasible? Any recommendations where to get a harness? I'm learning as I go.

Which 5.4? They have been around so long now that there are several versions. Iron or alloy block? 2,3, or 4 valves? Supercharged? Lots of trans options as well.

6.2 I think will be a lot more limiting. The only factory trans I can think of is the 6-speed auto. Much like an ecoboost it doesn't want to run as a stand alone system, it wants the whole truck in order to be happy.

Personally I see your choices to be a bit odd. Most of the time someone wants a new motor they want the 5.0 coyote. I have not been that impressed with the 6.2 that I drove in an F250. The common 5.4 isn't that interesting either. Neither would be an engine I would be shopping for to put into a Bronco. Maybe if I already had a wrecked truck sitting next to the house I might consider actually putting a tape measure to the engine and see how it would package into the Bronco's engine compartment.

Just my opinion of course, but I'd go V10 over 6.2. The exhaust under my f250 with 6.2 has more exhaust resonators, mufflers, cats, sensors, etc..........not sure how that would affect the swap and the computer if were to be changed to fit the bronco.

I've scrapped the 5.4 , 6.2L option. I found a nice 351W, 4R70w and np205. STD width 9" and D44 up front.
I'm learning as I go.

Thx for the thoughts
