I have a few months before I start my swap and idle time is not good for me.

I was out looking a prices and where I could save a buck or two. Using this vendor vs. that vendor.

One of my searches turned up "universal" transmission cross members. I see they come in straight or 2, 4, 6 or 8 inch drops.

Has anyone used one of these? Price is $60........

What's your time worth? Sometimes reinventing the wheel can be expensive:p

Check out Bronco73's m5od swap thread for some pics of his crossmember.

Yes I was just preaching that same thing (time is money) to a friend 2 nights ago about replacing a headliner in a GTO. Headliner and mini tub are his plans.

Thanks for the link.....I have B73's thread booked marked already. I plan to duplicate the mod on the twin sticks.
