Wow nice built 393 you have there! Two of the engine builders I'm talking to are saying they use Scat with ICON forged pistons so that might be the direction I go. Curious who's cam lifters are you using?

Comp Cams Hydraulic Roller, CCA-851-16
I had to get them off eBay, I had trouble finding lifters in stock. From the choices I had this was what I picked.

Jim at FordStrokers is building me a 427W:

Dart SHP Block, 4.125” Bore, 4” Stroke, 9.5:1 Compression
RPM Forged 4.00 Crankshaft, Internally Balanced
Scat Forged H Beam Rods
Wiseco Forged Pistons and Rings
FordStrokers Custom Hydraulic Roller Billet Cam
Morel Hydraulic Roller Link Bar Lifters
Trick Flow 1.6 Roller Rockers
AFR 205 Heads with 8019 PAC Hydraulic Roller Springs
SA Gear Billet Timing Chain with Torrington Bearing
ARP Bolts
Edelbrock Pro Flo 4
Ford Performance Rear Sump Oil Pan
Explorer Serpentine

He said I could expect about 520-535 HP with this build. I guess we'll see. I'd give you stats on the cam, but the design is still in flux. It will be a little on the mild side, but not too mild I hope. I'll either go BCB 1-5/8” shorty headers or build my own 1-3/4” long tube headers. I'm leaning towards building my own.
