Bronco just died after driving it all day.

It would crank over......fire....then when you release the key it would die. swithced out the ignition module-Nope
switched out the magnetic coil pickup-Nope
switched out the ignition switch-Nope

pushed it down to my mechanic neighbors house.

Ballast resistor was bad.

And keep all of those old parts you switched out. Now that you know they were good you can keep them as spares if your new ones actually do crap out.

The fact that you have a ballast-resistor says you have an aftermarket wiring harness. Which one did you use?

And carry a spare with you - - not at home on your workbench .
