That's a good idea about contacting the local news station. Here in Portland you could contact KATU. They have a "problem solvers" segment on the news that investigates stuff like this. If someone in town here got ripped off contact the station and let them know. Follow the link below and look on the right side were it says contact Shellie Baily - Shah

It seems like you may have had the most recent contact with Rick. Where was he several months ago when you spoke w/ him? How did you contact him? Do you have common friends that may know how to get ahold of him?

It may help others if you come off of any info that you may have as a friend of Rick's.
