Is my bottle stock? I'm sure the spray paint can lid is not but all the replacement bottles I see appear to be mounted on the passenger inner fender. I need a cap and new hose for this one and prefer the current location. Any ideas?

No, it's aftermarket.

You can get a '80s-'90s F series or explorer combo WS washer/coolant tank that will fit near the stock horn/WS washer tank and the stock washer pump wiring will plug right in. They fit perfectly.

Sans the spray paint lid it looks pretty much like the add on on Elmer (garage). I don't know when they became stock but I'm glad that the PO out one on Elmer.

Thanks

Didn't have a pic of one installed handy but here's what it looks like:

You can imagine it sitting where the wiper reservoir and horn are now on your truck. It's one of the neat little adaptations from later model trucks that someone (thinking it was Doug Schulz) figured out years ago.

Not stock, for '75 the overflow bottle sits on the passenger side fender well.

Hey, is that the window shelf-o-parts in the background there of "Guess This Part" thread fame? ;D

We put one of those same late-model reservoirs on friend's EB too. Used some "stand-off" spacers to bring it out for slightly better access to the caps.

Looks and works great.
And the factory wiring harness even had an xmas-tree push pin that fit right into the original hole on the wheel well. You know, for that factory look.;D

The one and only! Hey, you owe us a pic on that thread, right?

(sorry for the brief highjack)

To get back on topic, those combo tanks are a nice upgrade and clears up space on the passenger fender if that is where the OEM over flow tank is.

That's how I feel too. Unless you have a second battery over in that corner, it's mostly unused air space. Perfect spot for that tank.
Only issue I see is with a stock, or stock type radiator, the filler neck and overflow tube are on the wrong side and plumbing it is a bit ugly.
If you have an EFI/serpentine radiator though, it can be a perfect world.

My radiator is stock and I routed the tubing down the pass side of the rad then across inside a void in the grill at the bottom, then up to the tank. It looks cleaner than when my old tank was on the pass side inner fender. :)

A word of caution... someone reported in another thread that the newer broncos have a larger core support brace in that area that will need to be cut/moved to make this fit; not a problem in my '69.

Excellent spot. I route my headlight relay kit wires down there as well. Actually inside that cross-beam. Probably just below where your tube is.
Good to take that little extra time now, for a cleaner look.

Did you use all rubber hose? Or did you bend up any steel for part of the length?

It is all rubber. That is why I tucked it up inside that grill space, for protection.

Looks nice and solid in there.
Are those pics of two different EB's or did you remove that '76/'77 brace to make way?
