Have a 306 Bronco edition being built currently. ETA early February. They were willing to work with me and build me a fully dressed carb version minus the carb because I am already running a Fitech system. I've been able to learn that they had some issues getting the fitech to run right, vs. the holley, so we'll see. I plan to swap it right in and see.

When the cars exited the auction block and headed west out of the area they all rolled right by the blueprint set up

I walked through there at least 4 times %)

Honestly , I passed by the 10th once or twice before I realized it was them. They had one or two engines on this place and then cars. It wasn't as obvious as I thought it would be

I'm looking at this motor from them: https://blueprintengines.com/produc...-dressed-longblock-fuel-injection-bp306maxctf

I'm wanting to put an explorer serp on the front with vintage a/c. I currently have the stock 302 from 1977 with v belt & the ac compressor as a standard aftermarket install. Other than figuring out which belt to run the serp system, is there a way to convert the explorer ac compressor to the vintage a/c system? I'll be googling more later but wanted to post here in case any of you had done this or seen this combo yet?

Don't see why it couldn't be done. Just a matter of making sure the lines/hoses have ends that fit the Explorer compressor and Vintage components. Pretty sure that even if you had to go custom, it could be done.

And as proof (of a sort) my setup is Explorer and Vintage/BC combination. I'd have to ask 904Bronco here whether he mated a different compressor to the Explorer brackets, or just had the ends made that fit the Ford compressor.
I have to admit that in all this time I never actually looked at the compressor with that in mind. I just assumed that it was the Exploder compressor. And that the lines either already fit because they're some kind of industry standard, or he made some up with the proper fittings.
It would not be out of the question for a more standardized end to have developed over the last few decades, but it would not be out of character if each manufacturer wanted their own either.

If I find out before you get an answer here, I'll follow up.

Summit sells an adapter for the FS-10 Explorer compressor. It allowed me to use my BC/VA lines with it. But BC also sells a bracket so you can mount the BC/VA compressor to the Explorer bracket.

You can go either way
I used the Explorer compressor.

Is there something special about the Blueprint engine install from a regular engine install?

What he said^^^
BCB has the adapter as well and you need to tell them that is what your plan is when you order. They will remove parts from the kit, reduce it's $$$
Also don't re-used the old Explorer compressor, buy a new one.
The Sanborn a/c compressor that comes with the kit is supposed to be a better unit than the Ford one. It also comes preloaded with oil, where as the Ford one you have to add...

I’m building a new ground up Bronco. Putting a Blueprint Aluminum head 347 stroker in it. I didn’t want to use Holley sniper so I bought it without intake manifold or Carb/EFI. I’m putting a Edlebrock Prof Flow 4 in it. I like the approach and reviews better than the Holley or Fitech. Blueprint was super easy to deal with, quick delivery and very fast on technical questions after. Haven’t run the engine yet so no comments on that side.

I have 3000 miles on my aluminum headed Blueprint 347. VERY HAPPY! It’s my second motor because they covered the first one even though it was months after the warranty period. Had a cylinder melt down (shop that installed the first one had jackwagoned it pretty bad). BPE was great! My Bronco has C4/Dana 20 tcase/4:56 gears and 35”tires and got 275hp and 290ftlbs on the dyno. The spec sheet BPE sent has it listed at 415/415 but that’s flywheel not in a rig at the wheels so I’m super happy with my numbers after pushing power through my combo. They are a great company with great products and service; kind of rare these days.
