As some of you know, a few of us have been tracking U13 VINs for a while. okie4570 has been tracking the 66s for a long time, I am doing the ‘67s, and eaglenest66 is doing the 68s. Of course we have all helped each other out and had outside help at times as well, thank you to those folks!

I just want to make it public and ask that if you haven’t shared your U13 VIN with one of us, please let us add it to the list. For peace of mind, we aren’t going to publicize your personal information unless you do so first. And contrary to some opinion, there isn’t anything one could do with just a VIN.

A couple things I can share as of now about the discovered existing Broncos:

-527 U13's for 1966. 2 Export 170s, 14 289s, and 511 standard 170s.

***Bobby has listed a lot more '66 U13 information here:
https://classicbroncos.com/forums/showthread.php?t=309036

-42 U13’s for 1967. 16 Export 170s, 16 289’s, and 10 standard 170s. 3 sets of sequential VINs in the 1967 U13 lineup. And this is just so far!

-25 U13’s for 1968. 13 289s, and 12 standard 170s.

Nice! Glad you two are doing the 67' and 68'.

Added the 66' roadsters I discovered today and we're now sitting at 501. I still have LOTS of folks that said that they would get back with me with a vin or a color that haven't. The u13 group is pretty close, spread the word like JG mentioned above thanks :)

This is a cool registry gentlemen! The 501 for '66 is a huge increase over the estimate (and still used when one is advertised for big money) of " less than 125 still exist today"!

I have another '66 that I will be getting you the info on Okie... I think it is a U13FL75...

Jimmy, it would be a nice addition to have a picture to go along with the '67s too... and the '68s Tim....

Thanks I appreciate it. That number will grow, JG sent me some more last night to look over. I think JG picked the 67' so he can make an investigative trip to South America for more vins lol.

Thanks Dennis!

I agree it would be nice to have pictures of all of them, and as far as Tim and I we do for the most part. But we have ran into some owners that want to remain completely private and don’t want anything shown publicly. I spoke with one ‘68 owner who didn’t want their name on the list at all but allowed me to get the VIN to send to Tim. The owner of that one actually sent me a picture of the original bill of sale to get the VIN off of!

Amazing I remember 10 years ago really only 40-50 drivable on record, great job with research. Stupidest mistake was getting rid of my two back then...

Had yours as well thank you. Was this a special order color or can you tell the original color? Thanks again, looking forward to seeing it in person.

66 is a special order color (blank code on vin plate) Color is Ford Mint green. Only discovered it when we started stripping and dismantling.

519 the 698 67' u13 came with "glassed and framed doors" is what they called them. Not sure on the 68' JG or Eaglesnest66 probably knows.
