I'm running the later m5r2 behind a torquey 347. The ratings on the NV and the M5 are similar/ close. The selling point to me on the M5 was the bellhousing was sbf and clutch part numbers were stock ford truck and late truck starter. Same zf adapter and BC makes hydro clutch kit or you can piece it together yourself. Mine has been on the road for over 3000 miles and close to a year now and I do not baby it. I don't outright abuse either.. well maybe one or twice.
