Fog lights and stock bumpers..

Please post up some pics of your fog lights and stock bumpers. I am looking for something to be semi period correct in the aspect that it is the right shape etc and how they would have mounted them. I am hoping to end up with something modern like a good LED or HID light but in a setting that looks like it could have come from the 70's for our broncos. All keeping with my build idea, look period correct but be chocked full of modern goodies.

Here is another option I spotted on the LUBR thread....some LEDs well hidden behind the grill under the turn signals. I might have to try this.

Very effective when driving at dawn or dusk. Clear driving lights.

Another friend's original '76 with my old grille-guard and some "lord of darkness" lights. ;D
Funny the circle some things come... The grille-guard was originally on the Red '72 above, with the Cibié's and the lights on outer wings. Then on my '71 before I put the lights back right on the bumper.

I really appreciate the pics. I was originally thinking of adding a cactus smasher however it blocks the ford letters on the grill. The idea of it is not ruled out as the fog lights are a must have option for me. I was even thinking about using rectangular lights and mounting them below the bumper as I will have a center license tag. I have time to make up my mind but the things we think about... It will be nice when it is done and I can start worrying about the next one.

Cut the ford letters out of your old grill and graft them into the front of a cactus smasher, could be subtle but look good.

That's a cool idea I'd like to see that, I want to ditch my bar for a cactus smasher....some day when all my bronco needs is look at me parts....
