Looks like you have bigger fish to fry after reading your other thread about large debris in your oil pan. Hope its nothing major, but anyways, remove both, will look smooth and clean.

Don't think so...engine runs great...and appears it may just be "residue" from a previous repair.

Fixing a few things that aren't broken - because we are there - and I want Ginger as mechanically reliable as I can get her. :) She'll be cruising the North Fork of Long Island all Spring, Summer, and Fall. Can't wait!

Kim, Great looking Bronco Ranger!

I would keep the Bumperettes and maybe lose the Fog lights, although they look period correct.

Since you have such a nice, original looking truck I would also replace the interior with Ranger houndstooth, not black. No early Bronco came from the factory with solid black seats.

Houndstooth seats are on the list - but not addressing anything cosmetic until I'm completely happy with the truck mechanically. :)

Alright, I've decided. How's this persuade you?

Lose em' both and I'll take the bumperettes of your hands. I think englewoodcowboy said it best, it depend on the vehicle, but I think they'd work on mine. But I'm plain white w/ belt line, I think the Ranger stripes and bumperettes is just a little busy I guess.

ooooorrrrrr, lost the fogs and then take some pics and see how you like it sans fogs but w/ the bumperettes.

North fork...... too rocky for me, south fork beaches is where its at, minus the wineries. No wonder i haven't bumped into you, we are cruising different forks lol.

Here's a pic of our Ranger with bumperettes and no fog lights. The bumperettes look correct on a Ranger.

The South Fork is passé! The UNHamptons is where it is at! ;D

Did all Rangers come with the bumperettes? My 73 doesn't have them, and I was just wondering. Sorry if this is considered a hijack

No worries - Hopefully someone will chime in with the answer. Now I'm wondering the same thing about beltline trim.

I don't know about the bumperettes but all Rangers did not come with beltline trim. I have owned a few that did not have it.
