What have you done to your Bronco today?

After a 5-1/2 year ground up build, the Bronco moved under power today in the garage. Was raining here today or I would have taken it down the road and back. Installed the steering column, shifter linkage, adjusted the track bar, located the drag link saddle and welded it in place, adjusted the toe, secured the air box location, and re-routed the fuel supply hose. Fired it up and shifted into first and reverse and it moved!

Added some side badges, new ammeter and mounted the fire extinguishers.

Drove from Flagstaff to Prescott and back for an alignment. It was the longest and fastest highway trip I have taken with the EB since being back on the road last year.
It behaves remarkably well on the freeway, I believe far better than it ever did with stock or lesser components then I have installed now. I cruised at 75 the whole way and felt completely comfortable.

So did you go with the 7 degrees?

Well getting closer to being done with the mock up before I strip it all down to have the tub Line-X and chassis coated. Bent up the front shock hoops and test fit the 1.5” solid aluminum steering links and track bar.

So did you go with the 7 degrees?

No I installed the 4° bushings that Duff recommended, but I ordered two and seven degree buskings in case the caster was off when I got to the alignment shop.

Turns out it was the right choice to stick with what they shipped.
