Ok theres 3 wires on the dist purple/black red/black and black... Those plug right I'n to the box... It's the Standard ignition box... Then there's a green wire with those 3 and it says it's for the tach.... So I hooked that to the positive on the coil.... The second connector has 2 wires red...

not sure what the problem is.... at first i didnt have the ignition box in it because my 302 didnt have one and so with the new distributor i just cut the wires and fed them directly to the coil then realized no spark... so i figured out that maybe i should wire the ignition box i had sitting in...

thanks thats my other baby... spent way to much $$ on that but the engine is awesome.... got almost everything in... just need to do the spark plug wires and thats about it maybe a few other little things... will be running tomorrow morning.. headers were kinda a bitch but i ended up getting...

well just finished on day 2 of the project.. got the engine in motor mounts in place... tomorrow i need to tackle the headers... im hoping tomorrow night will be time to start and run it... it has 1 chamber flows on it and with the 302 it sounded crazy.... the neighbors are going to flip when i...

oh nice thanks for the info... it is a aftermarket cam.. and the machine shop guy did give me the specs on it with a fire order.. ill check it tomorrow when i go out to the garage.... hopefully ill be dropping it in tomorrow... my goal is to have it running and the top off on saturday.. ill...

so the engine is about to go back in just need to pick up a different belt tomorrow and im ready to go... my buddy told me the firing order is different then the 302?? can someone explain why??? i thought it was basically the same engine

also when i bought my bronco it came with a james duff box that say 351 alternator bracket... do i need these? whats the deal?

k guys i finally got the 351 back home and on the engine stand... heres my first question im sure i will have many more 1. the water pump... i picked one up at autozone today for a 351 and the bottom tube for the radiator is on the other side... so do i get a hose to go around to fit it? is...

ive got both on our parts bronco looking at 2000 for the whole thing

whats the install like on a aux my bronco has the cap but no tank and my cousin has one that came with his bronco but he has a after market large rear so he doesnt need it...

i think it was out of a running ranchero no clue on the year pre egr.... not sure on miles it came with the bronco when i bought it... cylinder walls look great but would prob have it rebuilt...
