what type of transmission is in a 83 ford ranger.it is a four speed.i had a guy give me the truck and was wondering if anything would work for my bronco

i had someone give me a np435.but it does not bolt up to a 205 transfercase.it is out of a 70s 4x4.will it work with a adapter to dana20.i think he said the other transfercase was a in and out or something

DO YOU HAVE TO CHANCE CARRIERS WHEN GOING FROM 3.50 TO 4.56,OR EVEN FROM 4.10 TO 4.56

I HAVE A 71 BRONCO THAT HAS A STOCK 302 3 INCH LIFT,3 SPEED TRANS, AND 35 IN TIRES.I THINK MY GEARS ARE 3.50.I WANT TO BUILD A GOOD MUD AND TRAIL RIG.THERE WONT BE ANY ROCKCRWALING INVOLVED.WHERE IS THE FIRST PLACE YOU GUY WOULD START TO BUILD,MOTOR, DRIVETRAIN,TRANSMISSION?WHAT STEPS SHOULD I TAKE.

am i the only one that has had this problem or what.some advice please!!!!

the transfer case is t shift

my transfer case will not shift into 4 high.it has been like this for a while and i am getting tired of it.any ideas.i also have a pto winch that i think is broke where it bolts to transfer case.how does it work gears or what and just guessing what would it cost to fix

can you run 38 stock.the guy i bought it from said he had 38s on it.and what gear ratio should i run.i thought about putting in gears and a locker at the same time

do any of you you use your bronco to ride in the mud.i know alot of hardcore 4x4 guys who run 21/2 ton axles and such and i dont think my bronco with 35s can ride with them very well.can you run 38 with stock axles.and how hard is a dana 60 swap
