Check the date stamped into the top rail. That one is too new for what he is looking for though, as the 66/67 didn’t have a cap on it, the cap was on the separate surge tank. ;)

A HWE style Bronco rack would be sweet!8-) I would make it slightly shorter than your first drawing pic though so it sits on the Bronco closer to how they sit on the Bus. You don’t want it from gutter to gutter...

Although I am a big fan of BFG AT’s as well for anything that is going to be driven regularly, you just cannot beat the look of a vintage traction bias tire!

I would imagine the stock bumper bracket would work fine if you cut a piece of heavier gauge aluminum or steel the size of your plate and put behind it for support. I guess you could weld the two together if you used steel...

I haven’t, but I have heard of multiple people soaking it in a bucket of solvent to clean the material inside of it...
