    Grill Data?

I was thinkin`g that it was just a part number for the grill except the 66 grill part number should be a different number part than a 71 grill (eyebrow grill and all that). It will be intersting to see what you have. In that picture, the absence of side markers certainly would fit the 66.

    NV3550 + Dana 20 conversion question

I'm trying to wrap my head around how that works. Normally the NV3550 shifter sits forward of the T-case levers. Here is mine. I even made abezel with the offset that was a prototype for the JBFab design.

    NV3550 + Dana 20 conversion question

I am not clear on what the question is. I assume that by "both shift sticks" you mean the T-Case and NV shifters. Many folks have done the NV3550 with all of the versions of T-case and there is no problem .

    Aux tank sending unit

Here are a couple of pictures of the tabs and tab slots that locate the sender. If yours is spinning, then something has gone awry for sure. Sometimes they get crushed when you are not paying attention. If so, straigthen them and go again.

    Fuel Gauge Selector Switch Orientation?

The last one I did was like this. The main (orange wire) is on the passenger's side; aux (yelloe wire) on driver's side of switch.

    Barrett Jackson Broncos 2023

No, I figured he saw the word "wagon" and the word "station" immediately popped into his head uninvited the way these word association things will. Craziness going on throughout. Anything with some history was seeing crazy action.

Done with my fitech, advise on carburetor.

Autolite (Ford) 4100 with small primaries here on the 76 Bronco. Runs better than the EFI on my 71. Plus it has plenty of support in the form of factory manuals and intakes.

Why does everyone hate the E303 cam?

Yes, with 35s you would likely be happier with a cam that yielded more low end torque.

Why does everyone hate the E303 cam?

I am using the E303 in the '71 with Mustang EFI. Since I have 4.11 gears in the rear and do a lot of high-speed highway travel to wheeling locations, it seems to be a happy cam even with a NV3550 5th gear. Around town it is fine, and on the trail I use 4-Lo, so the power seems fine for me.

    LED-Incandescent Comparo

Changed out the incandescent bulbs of some of my vehicles to LEDs over the holidays. I thought that I would do a before and after comparison for those sitting on the fence. The new JW Speaker LED headlights were so bright that the image of that one is completely saturated, since I was doing all...

    Tire carrier differences

The yellow one does have an odd bumper thing on the lower rail which was not stock. To be truly stock, you will need the limiting cable that attaches to the frame and the back of the carrier.

Explorer serp TFI mount on pwr strg bracket

And I see why you refer to it as the TFI bracket. We refer to it as the TFI Coil bracket in the diagram because in that particular example it is the type you use with a TFI type distributor on an EFI set-up. Sorry we were not a bit more clear there.

Explorer serp TFI mount on pwr strg bracket

I still think you might be referring to the bracket below. I don't recall that we discussed the TFI relocation in that article. But we did show one way to mount the EFI coil on the PS braket. Simple sheet of thin aluminum cut and bent. Works perfectly.

Explorer Serpentine VS Mustang 5.0 EFI Serpentine, I'm confused...

Yes we could have been more specific with the reason, but pretty much as Broncobowsher says, "no fuel pump=no fuel pump eccentric= shorter timing cover=water pump moved back=more clearance" etc etc.

    Unsolved mysteries… ID this part

I seem to recall that on some models, 73 and beyond, there was a wire directly from the alternator to an electric choke. Since you appear to have a non-stock carburetor, then perhaps that wire was left orphaned. Various emissions systems used that thermovalve to activate vacuum for various...
