    Rear springs and lift kit.

I have been reading this forum daily since January and have learned A LOT but I am a little confused about a few things. I will be installing a 1" body lift and from what I understand, I also need the new body bushings that replace the stock ones on the chassis/body mounts. Is this right...

    inline 6 200 - 3 speed - up to highway speed?

I have a 200 with a 3 on the column, 33" tires and I think 4.56 gears (this is what PO told me). Only once have I gotten it up to 55 mph and it was spun up pretty good to get there. Is there a way to get it up to highway speeds by changing the transmission? Would the NV4500 work? How fast do...

    La4x4 ride in Greensburg,La 5/20

My rig isn't quite ready yet either. I've got 1 door on, can't close the hood and my roll cage isn't welded together yet. I'll hit it next year.

200 inline 6 - preferred carb and air cleaner?

I have decided to go ahead and get a hood with a scoop and put a 2" body lift, if needed, to resolve the issue. I did make my way to the fordsix forum but I hate to put money into the 200 since I have plans to upgrade the motor next year. Someone on the fordsix forum decoded the numbers on my...

    body lift alignment

So, If I'm going to put a 2" body lift on my Bronco I need to put the original doors on in order to get the lines right. I have pipe doors on right non but that's probably not good enough. It might even be best to put the hard top on too.

Deep South Fab in Lacombe, Louisiana

I plan on getting a few quotes for the work that needs to be done so If anyone has recommendations I'd be more than glad to hear them. I don't mind hauling 500 or 600 miles for good work that will put me on the road and on the way to the woods.

Deep South Fab in Lacombe, Louisiana

Anyone use them for Bronco work? After 3 months of tinkering, cursing, missing the Sac-A-Lait, and bass spawn, nice spring fishing weather, and summer fishing......it's time to outsource. If I don't get it done soon, I'll be deer hunting out of a VW Jetta again this year. I am setting the...

200 inline 6 - preferred carb and air cleaner?

Would a hood scoop help resolve this issue even though the carb is mounted more towards one side?

200 inline 6 - preferred carb and air cleaner?

BmBm, I am probably going to go with a 2" BL but I wasn't really ready to pull the trigger on that upgrade yet. The Low profile air cleaner might work but it would have to drop on the side of the motor, I think. CasadeJohnson, Thanks for the offer. I'd be willing to bet the air cleaner I...

    Skyjacker Lift

Anyone run them? My Bronco is a POS and with Skyjacker 2 hours from me, I feel they would give me a real professional opinion about the safety of my Bronco and peace of mind. How do the lifts compare to lifts sold by our vendors?

200 inline 6 - preferred carb and air cleaner?

Anyone have measurements or can get measurements of their 200 carbs so I can compare and purchase a new one if it will make a difference? I have measurements in two different places in the pictures below. Do I need to put a hood scoop so this carb can fit? hehe

200 inline 6 - preferred carb and air cleaner?

Thanks for the tip on the Weber I will look into it. I just did some more troubleshooting and the when I shut the hood on the Bronco, the hood presses down on the air cleaner which presses down on the automatic choke and causes the motor to miss and sputter. I can reproduce this issue by...

200 inline 6 - preferred carb and air cleaner?

Here is the carb that I have now. I'm not sure if it's supposed to even work with this engine.

200 inline 6 - preferred carb and air cleaner?

I did look at those two sites but I have multiple problems now and have found out that my engine has a Born On Date of 1978 hehe. So, right now I have a 1978 inline 200 that has a PCV valve for a 74 inline 200, a fuel pump for a 1978 Fairmont (and I don't think it's pushing enough fuel) and the...

Fuel Pump for 200. Searching for 2 weeks and no luck.

I just drove it around the block 6 times and even after adjusting the carb, the only way it would stay running with the hood closed is with the air cleaner and air cleaner housing removed. As long as I had the hood opened, it ran pretty good with the air cleaner and housing installed but just...

Fuel Pump for 200. Searching for 2 weeks and no luck.

I should have ordered the Bosch #68422 but instead, I picked up one from Napa for a 78 Fairmont and I don't think it is pushing enough fuel. The picture of the fuel filter is below. It should be keeping the fuel filter about half full right? Take note of the very low gas line in the bottom of...

Fuel Pump for 200. Searching for 2 weeks and no luck.

I'll call Rockauto and see if they would happen to have a picture of the mounting side of that Bosch #68422 pump. Or maybe they will let me send a picture of them to confirm that they are the same pump. Here are some better pictures of the mounting side of my pump.

Here is a picture of how the fuel pump was mounted when I got the Bronco.
