    Wow, what happened to the pic in my first post? Sorry guys I will try to get that fixed! The gauge selector switch goes on the lower edge of the dash, below the hand throttle and ignition.

    I had a one owner 1966 built and purchased 1967 model and it had a lot of "66 only" parts, but it had "67 only" knobs on it...

    You are not looking for a factory part, so it may be quite difficult to find. Ford did not produce those panels in Parchment, just colored houndstooth patterns to match the Ranger interiors.

    Looking for a nice clean used temperature switch that mounts in the front of the air cleaner for spark control emissions. Should have two wires and a connector, not like mine below! ;D Thanks!

    My assumption is that they pulled off of the ignition switch prior to the headlight switch moving to the right of the column in '68. This diagram kind of confirms that if we can find some nice original trucks to verify.

    Isn't it just a single Blue/White wire? The housing grounds itself to the dash.

    No reason you can't, but I would suggest putting an inline fuse to protect the circuit. I don't remember if the 66/67 lighters pulled from the headlight switch like 68+ or not...
