I'm looking for two U brackets from the liftgate. They are the lower brackets which connect the liftgate hinge to the hard top. My JBG hydraulic liftgate kit came with everything...except those two brackets. And my rig is missing everything related to the liftgate.
Thanks!
So today I got the passenger floor pan out. They were replaced at some point previously, but not very well. And the PO sprayed Great Stuff between the floor supports and the new pans. Why? Who knows? The toe board was welded over the old one, and yep, more Great Stuff between the two.
The...
You can tie into the frame via a plate under the tub where the cage's feet are, and those plates are welded to the frame via a tube or some other sort of device. One thing to note is that Broncos aren't unibody--the body should have some flex to it. Tying into the frame eliminates that flex...
I love pirate lore and history. My Bronco is my pirate ship, and every ship needs a name. So, I christened my Bronco the Anne Boleyn, named, of course, after Henry VIII's beheaded wife. My Bronco is a '73. Thus, 73AnneBoleyn.
I just picked up a standard Bailie Bilt cage. He'll put grab handles wherever you want, as well as seat belt bungs. The difference between standard and custom, as he explained it to me, are the dual B pillars and overhead bars. Gordon is awesome to work with, and I have no qualms about putting...
Come on down to Charlotte! Great weather, affordable taxes, low state taxes, arts, sports, strong brewery scene, 2 hours to the mountains 3 to the beach, and one of the fastest growing economies in the country.
Bronco Driver website has both dates up for the Fall Ford Festival. If you go to the "Events" page, it shows the 2017 dates. However, on the main page if you scroll all the way down, you see the dates for 2018: Sept 15-18, 2018.
I just picked up my Bailie Bilt cage this weekend, and I haven't installed it yet. So, no pix of it in the Bronco, but I have no doubt others will post pix of their Bailie Bilt cages in their Broncos.
I couldn't be more happy with it. Gordon is great to work with, and the quality of his cages...
I did flat black, not very well admittedly, and hate it. Did not hold up well at all. Chalky, faded, and almost seems to absorb a little moisture when it gets wet. This winter I'm planning on switching up to satin. Hoping for better results.
Negative on the ABS plastic one. This is the one I have, from JBG. I guess I could just cut some slits in it from the holes to the edges, and fit it that way around everything coming through the firewall? I don't even know if it's worth the effort. How much does this stuff actually help keep the...
