1st time bronco owner, how to start?

I feel better about myself now. My wife and I just had this discussion yesterday. I spent more in the last three months than a lot of people spend in a year, maybe two I bet.

1st time bronco owner, how to start?

Welcome to the site, you're in the right place and the guys here are extremely knowledgeable. Two questions I would encourage you to ask yourself is: 1. What is my budget for this? 2. What do I want to do with this Bronco? Everything should kind of center around those two questions... Feel...

1977 Build for OCBR 2016 "Green Machine" Thread

John Dixon at Jak's Restoration is tha man!!! Body came off and the frame was prepped for the James Duff long travel arms and F250 shock towers. Axles from my 1971 Bronco were bolted up. The 351W has been painted and is coming together. He is rewiring it with a Centech harness and adding a 1"...

74 Coyote Ranger Build (Updated 4 Dec 21)

Move the rear axle back 1". I would either go with a different wheel/tire package like you said or cut it. An uncut and Coyote don't really go together.

    5" suspension lift = 33" or 35" tires?

Go with 35s with that much lift. What is your gearing in your axles? A guide to go by is 4:11s work well with 33s, so 4:56 for 35s.

    Rick's 69 Build

Looks awesome Rick! When I was there John gave me the card for Classy Gauges from your cluster so I mailed mine in to Kevin also. Talked with him today on the phone about what I want and look forward to having it look like yours.

1977 Build for OCBR 2016 "Green Machine" Thread

This Bronco is about to undergo a huge mechanical transformation in five weeks. I pulled this 77 out of a field where it's been sitting for a long time after deciding I needed a Bronco for OCBR 2016 since my 71 won't be ready. The good thing is I was already hoarding trail parts for another...

Looking for 1 Cooper STT Mud Terrain 37x12.50R17

I run these exact tires on my 78 Bronco in a 35x12.50x17. I have a new spare I would sell but it's 35 so that doesn't help... When I ordered the 5th tire from Summit Racing for a spare it was about 2 months after they started selling the new STT Pro (which I have also on my 71 Bronco). Summit...

    Cost of owning a Bronco.

Thanks for the numbers Papitt. Sounds like your buddy did okay, I kept waiting for this to turn into a horror story as I was reading so very glad it went well. It's worth it to pay a GOOD shop to work on these Broncos. Nobody will do body work on them, and if they do be very cautious of what...

    Crossbreed

Raleigh! I know this Bronco from the full size forum and didn't you have a FB page for this build? I was following it. It was a show beauty last time I saw it. I even commented on the 7879 FB page about the new build of you putting this EB body on it just a few weeks ago. Didn't realize it was...
