Some dealers (most notably Fairway Ford in SoCal) built up and sold many Bronco build packages and would finance all of the accessories and labor as well, from just flares to throwing a whole catalog of parts on it along with custom paint… No reason to not believe a small town Oregon dealer...

It’s like a vintage Stroppe family roll bar, a little funky with the top off, but I like it… Maybe I should add that to the back of the Stroppe front cage. haha

Funny, even though I have a ‘21 First Edition in the garage I wouldn’t consider taking it to a car show… Probably a super unpopular opinion, but if I had a vote I would even vote 66-77 only. Sorry 78-96 guys!

Need to look for the casting date by the starter to help figure it out. There is also an assembly date stamped into it on the driver side top that should be relatively close to your build date…

Odd, the Sanderson P Header exhaust kit from the old BroncoHut came with a set of crappy thin paper gaskets and I opted for the “upgraded“ thick soft set that Melissa recommended at the time. Nothing at that time mentioned using RTV instead of gaskets…

Congrats on the purchase! Only thing that truck needs is a $1k seat cover now… LOL IIRC those plates are indeed covering ‘66 door cracks… Such a cool rig.
