I have cast aluminum tall valve covers, and they are not hitting. My problems never seem to be that easy8-). Lifters seem fine, in fact I called pro comp tech line to triple check if my lifters would handle my duration and lift and they assured me they would.

I am just finishing up a 347 with a 91 roller block. I bought a rear sump Ford racing pan kit, it came with block style dipstick, good pan gasket and pickup tube. It did hit the HV oil pump bolts, so I ordered a new standard flow oil pump which I meant to get in the first place and it worked fine.
