I pulled my super shackles off last year for the same reason. I noticed I wasn't getting as much travel with the super shackle, so I went back to the stock shackles.

Not Cool!! I had someone decide they wanted to check out what was under the hood of my bronco while it was parked in a parking lot. They took out the hood pins, and never put them back. I found this out while going 40mph down the road. That was the end of that hood.

Do the hinges have bearings in them, or are they a metal sleeve over the 1.5" steel dowel?

I purchased the recon 10,500 a while ago, and it works great. Just used it this week to pull two diesels out of the mud. They were down to there frames. I had to dead man two diesels to the back of my bronco to be able to pull them out.

How big of a spare tire will fit on this bumper?

Is this bumper still available?

Are these bumpers made to fit rigs with body lift or are they the non body lift models?

From the lack of responses I am guessing that most every body just buys aftermarket leafs from the bronco websites, or upgrades to a 4 link setup.

I want to get the most bang for my buck in terms of flex in my rear suspension. I have heard of the shackle flip, but I was wondering if anyone had tried to swap out the bronco leafs for the chevy 63" leafs. I saw those in a toyota and man those things can flex. Are there any other kinds of leaf...

The bronco that I bought had the weird V8 with 6 cylinder intermediate housing setup, and what he did to it was moved the cross member forward 2.5 inches, so there were no beatin in firewalls. I had to move the crossmember back to the stock location when I did the Np435 swap.

6cylinder and 8cylinder intermediate housings were different lengths so if you used a 6cylinder intermediate housing with a 8cylinder engine then the hole setup would be shorter then the stock V8 setup.

Thank you guys I swapped the yokes and it worked like a charm. I think i may just run the bushings the normal way. Can't figure it out.

I'm looking into that, but I have another problem. The person that owned the bronco before me kept the 6 cylinder intermediate tranny adapter between the trany and transfer case when he swaped in a V8. The problem is that it is a shorter setup, and now my drivshafts are 2.5 inches to long in the...

I just did the swap this morning, and i switched the bushings on the cross member, but the transfer case doesn't sit on the bushings it is floating. Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem. It is an advanced adapters tranny adapter if that makes any difference.
