    Rolling on 35's

It is amazing (and somewhat scary) what I keep learning about my Bronco. We had a small show at work today and some people who seem to know more about these things than I do were looking at my tires. Apparently, they changed the labeling requirements for tires in 1974 and my tires don't have...

O.K. Is Ford mking the Bronco behind our bcks? or did NPR radio get it wrong???

No, the Sport Trac is an Explorer platform which is much different than the Ranger platform that has been around forever. It has IRS and the same interior.

    modern bronco

I think the explorer version was at Broncorama last year. I may have a few pics somewhere.

69 Bronco fuel pump w/ vacuum wipers

A regular one should work well enough unless you encounter a lot of rain along the way.

69 Bronco fuel pump w/ vacuum wipers

I bought one at either advanced or autozone a couple of years ago. Murrays said they had them but wanted ~$100 vs the ~$30 I paid. I think they may have mispriced it. I would guess one of the vendors have one. You might want to call.

    City of Atlanta Bronco Owners

Go Jackets! I have a place in midtown that is rented out but unfortunately I am in MI now. Love the varsity. Get some greasy onion rings for me. Hope to stop in town for the Peach Bowl.

    mini Starter

Mine is only on a stock 289 but it is easily the best upgrade I have made. (I haven't made a lot) Doesn't kill my battery everytime I have another problem keeping me from starting and starts almost instantly the rest of the time. More torque, fewer amps, quieter, and lighter. Very much...

    289 Q's

Thank you all for humoring my curiosity. I have no plans to remove my 289 but I am glad I now understand more about why that is a good thing. It seems like it will run well other than a bunch of little gremlins that keep it parked, but I am pretty sure they are more outside of the engine...

    289 Q's

I have seen on here a couple of times now that the 289 is a good engine but was wondering what makes it good particularly compared with the other common options like the 302 and the 351? On another note, I tried to search for the information. Why do I get no results when I try to search for 289?

Anyone know where to get fuel pump for vacuum wipers?

I found them pretty easily at Murrays an either autozone or advanced auto parts (I get them confused) last year. One ran over $100 and the other $20 or $30. I believe it was Murray's that was more proud of theirs.

    Center Hill, FL

I was driving across FL while on vacation last Wednesday and saw what looked to be two very nice looking rigs at a place in Center Hill, FL. I believe one was a maroon half cab and the other was a blue wagon. (I may have the colors backwards) There were people out with them and I really wanted...

    Another Fuel Pump Thread

So there seem to have been a lot of threads about fuel pumps recently so being the follower that I am I thought I would start my own. My question: I am considering the switch to the electric from the mechanical but wonder if I do, how do I handle the mechanical? Specifically, if I put the...

    Starting Problem

Tried to start it yesterday and all I got was a click. Battery is new. Positive cable was very hot after trying but never turned over. Didn't have time to look at it closely but I have worked the started pretty hard over the last few months. What should I look for first? The heat leads me...

    Broncorama photo's

Did anyone lose an auxillary tank somewhere on 96 near Lansing. I thought I saw one on the road, but I didn't have an opportunity to check for sure.

Dunebuster, I enjoyed talking to you at the show. I was the guy pulling a couple of kids in a wagon. Thanks for the information. It will help me get mine where I want it. Hopefully, I will see you out at Silver Lake sometime in the not-too-distant future.
