• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

yes that is true. Mecum basically owns each vehicle that enters 'the bid goes on' arena for a period of 21 days.

Ironically and coincidentally, I picked up my Roadster today from it being stored at a friends house down in Monterey. I also received my first call from 'the bid goes on' office with the first post offer. I declined the first offer so they are going back into discussion with him and two others interested parties. I assume this time around at Mecum Monterey, low sales, has their best interest towards sell whatever they can to recoup their monies? They actually did a great job with photos and venue and advertising etc.

If nothing solid solidifies, then I plan to wait out the 21 days which would allow me to sell it outright on September 8th. Uruguay is onboard and in a holding pattern.

trailerjack, you could / should figure out a way to keep her stateside??

anybody else have any pre or post September 8th interest?? PM if so

even though its clean, it has 4 Low so you can drive it in the mud if you prefer : ]

I've always had a dream of owning a V8 roadster, but that's a big purchase and the timing just isn't great. I just wrote a massive check for my student loans and also have my wife's bronco to finish (close to going to paint).

$88K on the highest bidder, then haulted
I am in some discussions with Mecum still but if not sold by September 8th then the 'Beautiful U13' will be available to anyone seeking a clean, rare, 1 of 27 in existence, Bronco Roadster.
