Hey Fellows......cool engines and smak talk, but I think 351boss is thinking about the engines I just snapped pics of. These look good in their disassembled state!
Want more confusion its a Clevor.

351C Engine Block Casting No. (4-bolt mains)
1971 ............ D1ZE-A (Boss 351)
D1ZE-B (Boss 351)
DOAE-B, DOAE-D, DOAE-F, DOAE-H
1971 - 74 ......D2AE-CA (Cobra Jet)
1972 .............D2AE-EA (high output)
351C cylinder heads were 4 types, small or wedge chamber with big ports (4-V), open chamber with big ports (4-V), open chamber with smaller ports (2-V), and the austrailian head (small chamber small ports)
351C HEAD Casting No. (4-V type only)
1971-74 (74 - 77cc open chamber) ........DOAE-E, DOAE-M,
1971-74 (73 - 76cc open chamber) ........D1ZE- DA (CJ), D2ZE-A (HO), D3ZE-AA (CJ)
1971-74 (61-64cc closed chamber) DOAE-J, DOAE-G, DOAE-H, DOAE-N, DOAE-R, D1AE-AA, D1AE-CB, D1AE-GA, D1ZE-B (boss 64-67cc)

What about a stroked, aluminum headed Cobra Jet Cleveland? I know you have comments!
I was finally able to locate the casting numbers: D1ZE-B.
Not quite ! yes the head used 14 head bolts !
since i have not seen any engineering books w. anything after sk510000 i was just wondering if you had any info about the later once .. thats all !
were they all experimental & nascar specific ?
I have a 400 that has 351c /w engine mounts? how did that happen?
