Today I found more rust in the kick panel and made a patch/brace for the door post so that it will support the structure of the Bronco while I repair the kick panel

Here are the last of the pics. Tomorrow I will be welding and cutting the old kick panel out to make a patch and clean up and treat the inside of the door post.

I also wanted to mention the rust on the kick panel was caused by lack of seam sealer from the factory, it busted out at the seams and spot welds, Also the inner rocker is gone in the front, as well as the floor. The body was starting to sag, I couldn't tell until I cut out the floor and saw the front floor support was bowed down after the body mount I used a block of wood on the floor jack and a 5lbs sledge to get it straight again. It was pretty easy. I also am using a floor jack to support the body until I finish the repair. It should be stronger then factory when I'm finished.

You should have let me know you were doing this - I would have loaned you my plasma torch. The only issue with it is that you need a 50-amp 220V outlet....
