This is my 1st 408w motor so I'm not sure on a couple things.

Engine currently has a carb with a edelbrock air gap intake
Hei distributor with 6al controller
Long tube clapped out headers dual
Approximately 525 hp according to previous owner. it's got alot of power so don't doubt it

Want to do
Shorty headers which brand?
2 into 1 mainly for packaging for 4 link
Efi would like to retain the dizzy and intake but it sits up pretty tall currently with a huge filter and large carb spacer. Will run a pro flow hood.

Side note. Seems to be a ton of movement in the engine. wh extreme motor mounts? Will these take the engine a little

If it really makes 525 HP, which it very well easily may, you need 1 3/4 dia primaries and dual 3in pipe or at least single 3.5. only 1 3/4 headers for an EB I know of are the mad dog fender well headers. They would solve your issues of any clearance problems in between the frame rails.
