You are assuming quite alot there...
Lets me grab a pic of the crossmember. I bought a good used running tranny from a local here at
CB.com, he had quite a bit of power ful 351w and was using the stock torque converter. I believe Spareparts another CB member told me he was running the stock converter as well but this was behind a stock 5.0 explorer. Anyway, I am won't putting anywhere near your 408 in HP with my mild 90's modeled 351w and plan on using the same stock converter.
The transmember also came from the same guy and it's a modified tubular style BC broncos crossmember. It looks just like the same one I used on my ZF tranny only with a taller mount.
