Thanks for the pics! Will they provide a template to mark the frame where the brackets need to be welded? Also, from those pics it's hard to tell but it looks like nuts are sandwhiched between the frame and the bracket?so there is about a 1/2" gap there that the weld bead must fill in? I may be completely wrong. Any more info? Thanks!

Sine i am doing mine with the body off, I also think a template would be nice so we can get the angle of the dangle correct and avoid creating firewall or fan to radiator clearance issues.

I believe the pics show that the bracket is welded to the frame after you cut holes in it to allow for the nuts

Ah, ok....so 4 holes in the frame on each side to accommodate the nuts. Yea...template is almost mandatory...I don't want to be guessing at angles.

Are these available yet through WCB or do I need to wait for another mass buy? Without having a C4 in my Bronco nor a crossmember, I am warming up to the 4R70W.

I am pretty sure they have at least one available. There was little interest in a mass buy so WCB only made the one which I think they still have if you want to give Don a call. He is willing to make more but the price will go up if they are all one-offs.

Thanks Chuzie! I sent them an email yesterday and hope I hear back from them. I am not too concerned about the one off price because I don't have a crossmember as it sits right now anyway.

Bringing this back from the dead.

WCB told me I was first to order this piece.

I chose not to use the little plate / bracket they provided as I didn't want to drill hole in the frame.

Instead, I just got some angle iron slightly longer than stock brackets, drilled holes in it to match original frame holes, and drilled holes in top of it for AA adapter bolts.

The fit and finish on the crossmember was awesome and WCB was great to work with.
