Thanks. Got that camper all cleaned up yet?

Not yet, it's still in Iowa!!! Finally got the house unpacked after moving, still need to get the garage in order, then it's a road trip to get it sometime this winter. I hope to have it ready for Broncorama:-[

Look great. Should be a breath of fresh air working on a solid rust-free rig, but I guess you still had some panels to replace.... I still wonder how that all happened...guess we'll never know.

Hit from the side or rock crawling :p.....still have to replace the front axle this winter too. Original owner repair below. I'm surprised it drove as good as it did.

Yea would be nice to know what happened to it, It was obviously hit very hard on passenger side. Rust or no rust replacing 1/3 of the metal on a bronco is lots of work. Glad it went into good hands and will be restored correctly. Always good to see them live. Keep up the great work Rich.

Getting closer.

Rear quarter installed and welded up.
Most of the bits all in (jack, jack wrench, brake, battery tray, spare tire holder).
[*]**see pics of jack hold down by the rear quarter. No evidence of this ever being back there but there is a jack sticker. There is a hole that appears to be die cut in the floor (see pics). Any clue on this? I installed a stock style jack hold down anyway. Will weld up this hole this weekend.
Passenger wheel well installed.
Floor and such leveled.
Seam sealer coming later this week. 1st time doing this so will test seal some seams offline. Taking some pointers from a Bronco friend so hopefully this goes well.
Will be test fitting all parts this weekend and then will be pretty much ready for paint.

Sorry about the ugly paint colors. Had grey and red prime. Just verifying everything smooth and dont want it to flash rust with Michigan winter coming.

Yeah. Have 3 in there. I have to get the roadster out of the wife's side by snow fall or I will be in the garage all winter ;D All 3 will fit on my side (strategically placed). When I get to number 4 I will need a lift to hold the roadster up in the air.......

Thanks.

The mount wasn't there because in '67 it was supposed to be mounted in the spare tire... ;)

FYI..I did find a v8 vacuum fuel pump. Thanks for your help on that.:D

Looking very good! I think any color primer looks better than flash rust.

House, I can honestly say I have never seen the jack there before, I have not had too many 67's But thats new to me. Have not seen that illustration before either, Very cool. FWI I have see Rich's bronco a few times and beside being hit hard on the passenger side its solid and original. The Jack sticker is in the same location as the 66's were. His is a pretty early 67, has the 66 bumpers and such too. Hard to say what his really had, Ford Did mix up a few things on the broncos in the first few years. Either way thanks for the illustration.

No problem, it's actually a pic of the jack page in the 1967 owners manual.
I am pretty sure that it is correct, as if you notice, Rich's Bronco didn't have
the '66 style mount in it originally. (Although it did have a hole that is not familiar
to me). Here is a pic of the back of my '67 with no mount also. (Sorry it is
dirty). My '67 was actually built 3 months earlier than Rich's...

Its good to see the quality control at Ford is still the same ....just kidding...

That Jack sticker was just slapped on and fell where it landed. Kinda funny..;D

Body is off..

Seam sealer about 90% complete. Used the tape method and it turned out well. Very happy with the results. Nice and clean.

All panels fitted. Some small issues with the after market grill that I need to tweak a bit. Also the backing plates had to be cut down a bit here and there. No major issues though and everything looked good.

Speedo sent out to classychasisrestoration. Im sure it will be top notch as all his work seems to be.

Body now off the frame (thanks for the help Tom :D). Body will be pretty much done in a couple days. Just need to finesse some stuff on the underside and finish up some seam sealer. All parts removed and everything set aside to go with the body to paint (not getting painted till after xmas).

Have plenty of work to do on the frame until then. Most of it is pretty clean. Already cleaned by the previous owner and I chassis painted most of the frame when I first got her. Need to clean up around the trans and such and that is the big area (always is) and finish up the frame and such. Drop the pan, replace some gaskets and still have to swap the broken (but welded front axle).
