that bitch is bad. cant wait to see it mobile. real toy's r built not bought.

Thanks very much.

I'm still in wiring hell. Seems like for every 5 mins of work I do I do an hour of research on here. RJM harness is 100% done. Centech, I have the dash done, passenger side engine compartment done and its all tied in to the RJM. Starter, battery and all grounds are done. Wiper motor is wired and done. Just have the drivers side of the centech to do, basically just lights and fuel stuff. Picked up my 150 amp fuse for the 4g yesterday as well.

upper and lower rad hoses are done. Picked up a heater control valve but have no idea how I'm gonna get it to work with the mustang heater tubes on the intake. Only solution that's been presented is lengthening the heater control cable by using a choke cable to extend it. Of course I chucked my choke cable and don't have that as an option now. Any ideas?

Well been slugging away lately. Summer is finally here on the north west coast and I need to start driving this thing.

Spent the weekend doing rear drums, plumbing all new brake lines and installing pb setup. Got the parking brake cables in.

Got my new yokes on the np205. Stock rear shaft shortened, rebuilt and balanced. '78 bronco front shaft rebuilt and balanced. Hydraulic master and BC broncos clutch rod installed as well as the line run to the zf.

Installed a set of 2010 ranger 60/40 buckets onto the stock sliders and mounts.

So my short list to the finish line;

- Bleed brakes
- Bleed hydraulic clutch
- Cut and rotate the 9 inch. Have new perches already. Gotta eliminate my 20 degree difference in pinion angle.
- Exhaust. Picked up a 2 into 1 magnaflow yesterday.
- Clearance the zf shifter.
- Shorten the jb fab twin sticks.

my father in law paints and owns one of the nicest shops in town. He just dropped a crew cab dually and redid the color all silver on he bottom with white on top seperated the body line about at the top s of the fenders and along the bed rail with flames kinda a maroon metallic that matches the ate 90 model chevy interiors anyway he did his linex in a real nice gray kinda light, looks like itd compliment your paint real good and not bad if hats your first paint, sometimes u can tell your blocking job before especially if youd a been using a base, clear, and grab some cheap spray paint black, youll be able paint all bad spots and see just what youve gota do to get it 100%. That way when you layit on you know its right, just harder to work with acrylic, the beauty of base clear its gota be right to not show imperfections, but you can wet sand and clear right back as much as you have to in order to get it right, for future some people are scared of base clear but its got its advantages for sure, and im spraying with a sada too and all i know is about 5 jobs under my belt and a few minor fenders and stuff, ive actually taken fenders my father-n-law was buying new, and practiced my bondo, fiberglassing, grinding, welding, and painting skills all together, seems to help, and orange peel sometimes you need more pressure. just trying to help i just graduated college begging for my 1st eb as a gift so i can start my own, my dads an A1 engine bulder and with a 3200sq ft shop 2 lifts and the nicest body shop in town n my girl's side i cant wait, just think ive got too many helpers not too, plus my dads 72 mach1 hes had since high school and 01 lightning with 4200 miles makes it worse, were all ford guys and i want a half cab actually was on ebay a week ago or so black one he seems to have alot for sale in ward arkansas, but ive got an offer for 1 here at hoe 73 uncut all original i could buy reallll fair, 3 on tree i just hate to whack it up, would i be better to get it clean it to detail then try and trade or sell? just seems uncuts bring more but dang i know where its been now since 96-97 no miles but hunting and thats it, white all lines atch up may be worth a hell of alot more than i think actually, a 73 if any help can be given. Thanks.

A couple of weeks ago I got dad over to help bleed the brakes and the clutch. Proportioning valve that I bought off ebay was pissing fluid everywhere. Went out to the wrecker and grabbed one off of an econoline.

Then i go to bleed the clutch and the slave that came with the tranny is pissing fluid as well:mad::mad::mad::mad:

I cheaped out and just tried to use the used one as a new one was $170. Bit me in the ass. So I had tp pull the tranny/tcase. While pulling the t-case I managed to have my jack slip out and had the np205 drop from about 2.5' onto my left shin:cry::cry::cry: Off to the hospital. Not fractured. Thank god. Just two pretty good chunks missing out the front of my leg. That was 2 weeks ago and I'm finally loosing the bandages. Looks like a gun shot wound.

But the good part about all of this is I got the tcase and tranny all cleaned up and decided to paint them the same color as the truck. They look real good. Got a new slave and everything re-installed. Brakes bled, clutch bled:)

I then picked up some stainless wire for my mig and went ahead and cut and shortened the jb fab twin sticks, installed the boot. I then pie cut the zf shifter at the base as Tito and others have done to move it down and over. Then rewelded and installed the boot.

Today I'm gonna tie up some loose ends. I need to fab up a base for the zf shift boot and permantly install the tunnel cover. I need to clean up some wires for the zf back up switch and the brake proportiong valve, as well as a couple clamps on the rear wire harness. I have to adjust the BCbroncos throttle cable length and then head down to the shoe maker who is sewing up some 2 point belts that I got at the wrecker to match the ranger seats. I have to fab up brackets to mount those as well.

July 18/19 I have a trailer lined up to get it to a local off road shop to have the new spring perches welded on to correct the pinion angle. Then off to glass shop for a windshield and then my dad's shop for exhaust.

Sounds good. I hear you on the slave...I got one with my used trans but really didnt want to drop the 203/205 and ZF to swap it any time soon. Those little things like the slave/clutch/hose really add up.

Great job Hammer! Everything is clean looking. That 5.0 looks like it came in there straight from the factory. Dash is real nice too.

Alright, back from camping with the family and down to business on the bronco for the rest of my holidays. Goal is to drive it to my buddies 40th birthday party tomorrow night.

I've spent the last 2 days dailing in the details. Got my door felt and weatherstripping from the graveyard have had good luck getting most of it in. Most of my time was spent installing a new rear seat. I had a bestop fold and tumble for a couple years waiting to go in. I tossed it in the othe rmorning and felt that its just way to small. I have a 5 and 3 year old that ride in boosters. There's no way I was getting them on that thing.

So off to the wreckers. Found this seat. Its a third row seating out of an '09 Dodge Journey. Works great at 40 inches wide. The backs fold forward and the head rests actually tilt down to the floor when the seat is folded down. Its not a bench, so it installs in 3 pieces. The two backs bolt into the stock 4 seat belt bolts and then I had to drill 4 other holes, two of which seat belts attach to. I then had to build a bottom for the ass of the seat and it mounted into the 4 stock bench seat holes. I welded the seat belt receptacles to the "bench". I am super pumped about them, and they match my '10 ranger 60/40 buckets almost perfect. The grey is just a bit different but you can't tell in the pics.

Sorry the lighting in my garqage makes all these look really yellow in the pics. Off to a custom shop to have my spring perches rotated and then off to exhaust this afternoon.

Super fun day yesterday!

got a day permit put on the bronco. Made the maiden voyage to the glass shop for a new windshield. Then home to pick up the kids and take em for a rip back up to the insurance place to fix my paperwork. My vin was reading as V15. Kids loved it, we had a last. Back home to finish the tailpipe on my exhaust. Then off to "aircare".

Aircare is this sham/moneygrab we have in vancouver. It tests the hydrocarbons and such in your exhaust. I failed. Which means I can't get insurance.

So back home to work on the timing and then over to my dad's to hook up the computer. Got it dialed in a lot better, pulls a bit stronger and idles smoother.

Then off to a local patio for dinner, followed by my buddies 40th birthday party. Bronco was a big hit, took a couple buddies for a burn.

All in all super fun day, so stoked to be driving it. I have some axle wrap that's gonna need addressing and need to get it through aircare but other than that pretty happy.

Hey Hammer I have a question.I have the same lift 5 1/2'',ZF,205.I had my stock front drive shaft cut down and it wont even bolt up with weight on the front end.I read that you used a 78 shaft, did that get you more angle or did you have to get a special cv?
Thanks Ben
