Your EFI is probably none too happy either. Also currently just running open headers so I'm sure I don't have happy neighbors.
The O2 sensor doesn’t know whether it’s coming or going.

Was that you that broke into my garage to sneak a peak under my truck to check how far up the left bank I welded the 02 bung?!Your EFI is probably none too happy either.

Thank you sir!Awesome work!
Tomorrow should be a maiden voyage to let the ECU do some learning, the motor finally starts without throttle & idles smoothly. I’m waiting on a hood from bronco design so I’ll be doing some ECU logging with the top off.![]()
I’ll never admit to it. And I wasn’t there. You can even ask my mom.
Looks fantastic going down the road!
Now where's the sound of that new engine!
Paul
I didn't realize the video I posted wouldn't let you hear the sound!
First on the gauge lamps. Did you make sure to turn the rheostat up all the way? Try both ways just to be sure? Are you using LED bulbs or standard incandescent?
How is the electrical system overall? All new, or all original, or a mix?
Did you retain the body ground from the battery to the fender? Did you add an additional one between the back of the engine and the firewall?
Does everything else work so far? Heater, hazards, horn, etc?
With the battery negative disconnected, remove all fuses and wipe them clean. Check the contact springs/clamps for corrosion and if ok put the fuses back in. The only fuse in question here is the smallest one in a stock fuse panel, but this procedure is a good thing to do with glass fuses every couple of years anyway.
For the gauges not working, check for power with a volt-meter on the back of the cluster at the input section of the Constant Voltage Supply / IVR (instrument voltage regulator) to make sure you're getting power in on the Black w/green wire.
That's a start anyway. Let us know what all else you find.

haha, I may have one fan on my street...I think the rest are likely tired hearing it. I want to get a custom stainless setup welded up w/ an h-pipe & a pair of chambered mufflers. Something like a 40 series flowmaster.Sounds like music to my ears! Are the neighbors aficionados of Concerto #408 by Bronco?![]()
On the Centech, there's an external fuse under the steering column that manages the dash lights - check there. It's like a 5a inline fuse.I have a couple electrical issues I'd love input on -
Factory gauge cluster isn't lit up with the lights on & it appears all the gauges except the speedo don't function. Fuse panel looked okay.
Second, the right turn signal flashes externally & on the gauge cluster, but the left side doesn't flash.
Any thoughts?
