Picture request please.
I have a factory 2 barrel carb (C4 trans) and for the life of me can’t figure out where it connects to the carburetor. I don’t think I have the correct linkage on the carb...

Thanks

Here are a couple pictures I have of my stock 76. It's the black lever on top of the linkage assembly. Hope this helps.

Thank you that helps a lot. Mine does not have the arm for it to connect.

Does anyone have that piece or know where I can get it?

it's been a while since I've dealt with the stock autolite carbs, so I don't remember if the linkage is threaded or not. If it is should be either 1/4 or 5/16 fine thread.. get you a bolt with a short shank and intall. Make sure it's not too long as to catch or bind when accelerating. If the linkage isn't threaded, use proper size bolt and double nut it, so it won't come off.

'76s have 2150 carbs and I have a 2150 with the kick down lever. The throttle shaft needs to be swapped to add the kick down to a carb that doesn't have one. I could remove mine, as I don't need that part.
