summertown,
Good for a bed of a truck and that's it, I'd say its more of a down grade when some one does the floor of a bronco, boat ,car. Great cover up that adds value!..what?

The LineX Extra can not be beat. I have had this installed on 6-7 Broncos and yes, gasp, a couple Jeep Scramblers and 4 truck beds.

All used the color match LineX Extra system and all had metallic in the color as well. It MATCHES perfectly. Color does not fade. EXTREMELY durable and VERY hard to scratch.

Like previously said, "Best modification I've done". Just plan ahead and don't change the body color.

I just had mine done by Inyati in Chandler. Turned out awesome, UV protection and easy to clean thus far. I researched until I entered the analysis paralysis phase as usual. Price could not be beat and they have a great reputation, plus they have the state contract and many big auto dealer contracts as well, and I have seen it beaten on by some of the DPS guys in the past. It has a lifetime guarantee and transfers to the next owner. It was more economically feasible for me to go this route with the time and prep, ( they did all of the prep). So far so good

I beg your pardon? Bed liner in higher end builds? I understand it can be necessary if you park outside or have a buggered up interior to cover up but I believe matching paint is the high end standard. ;) Also, I wouldn't buy a car with the stuff for the same reasons. Goopliner should be a harder decision than cutting fenders.

Linex works well for hardening vehicles for convoys I know, it actually withstands explosions rather well.

I like liner, but I use it for a different reason, I shoot the liner first and then shoot a ceramic coating like Cerakote air cure with ceramic micro spheres mixed in. The spray in liner I like to use is a 2 part system and I use it because the texture builds a larger profile to build up more of the ceramic microsphere layer, thus making it better at noise reduction and heat dissipation. I know it sacrilegious around here, but after that I like to cover the whole thing up with a nice 5 bar chequer plate. I think metal is better than any of the coatings for a durable and long lasting floor. But I know a lot of people think tread plate for floors is played out, because people went crazy with diamond plate and plated everything.

I sprayed mine but its really thin. So in my case if i want to do more to the interior it shouldnt be to hard to get it off.

I think it has its place. I am going to drop mine off today to get sprayed. My truck is a camping/trail riding/weekender/dog hauler so it works well for that application. If I was going to do a frame off, no I wouldn't even consider it.

i tossed around the idea of spraying mine with tintable raptor inside. Im gona tint it orange crush and throw down two coats. Then im gona lightly shoot some black over that to give it a speckled look to break up all the bright orange and that should also hide dirt and wear as the liner ages and gets beat up.

Can liner be painted over? I made the mistake of not covering or masking before I color sanded the final color, clear coat that is and its white and nothing I tried has been able to remove the white haze. I quest there always carpeting.

Have you tried prep solvent? That usually removes wet sanding residue for me. Let it set there for a minute and scrub with a stiff bristle brush. You might also want to try Meguires Final Inspection.

What liner do you have? Raptor or any other liner can be sprayed with more Raptor as long as you spray a coat of adhesion promoter.
