ARB install

I broke my 9" track-lock last month at the RMR. Decided to replace it with a 31 spline ARB. The install was pretty easy although it did require a bit of grinding around the pinion support bearing for clearance. I read a good article over on Pirate about routing the copper air line and decided to give that a try. The line was just long enough. I ran it through some poly tubing in places to keep it from rubbing on the case. I used the same poly tubing to run the blue air line through along the frame. I used a stretched out spring to protect the blue line from the frame down to the diff. While the diff was out I drilled/tapped a hole at the bottom of the housing for a 1/8" pipe plug. The housing is at least 3/8" thick in that area and the plug fits flush on both ends.

BTW, track-lock ring gear bolts are too long to fit with an ARB.

So are you ready to test it out? Dan and I would probably be up for something, I know I would. Looks good.

I'd be up for something close and not too difficult. It's getting close to hunting season and I've already spent my allowance for the next couple of months.

Looks good. I like what you did with the line.

You and Frank are really peer pressuring me to go ARB up front too.
