Body removal Question

Preparing to remove body of 1974 bronco. I have a question about the floor pans. The driver side floor pan is rusted through by the pedals. Do I need to repair the floor pan prior to lifting off body? I plan to brace the heck out of it prior to lifting but wasn't sure if I need to repair the floor pans 1st.

Thanks in advance!

You can separate it with the rusted floors. Just make sure it is braced well as you stated. I like to do my repairs using the frame that you intend to use as a build jig. Just make sure to use good body mounts. Ken
