Bronco Takeover August 6th Silver Lake Sand Dunes, MI

Did anybody have a final count on how many broncos were there? I know it was a bunch.

Was very cool to see the Stroppe ambulance and Duffs Pony Express right next to each other on the sand, lots of history sitting there.

I was there but sadly didn't make it over to the gathering on the hill. Great seeing so many Broncos out on the sand! Been to the dunes many times with other rigs but this was the first time for my rig. I made it up test hill after putting it in 4Low however the radiator would have rather had me NOT attempt it. Got to the top just as the pressure cap let go. Was battling temperatures the rest of the day even though it was only 80. Still everyone had fun! Can't wait to go back!

I don't know exactly how many EB's were there but Bill ran out of registration cards at 140 and there were still a bunch of broncos pouring in!

Bronco did great for it's first time up there....ran around in 2wd most the day.

Great photos! I wanted to get out on the dunes but the 69 was having fuel issues! Next year I'll have 2 there, the 68&69!

Had a great time on the dunes! Good weather, awesome friends and Bronco's in every direction! Even the 7-1/2 hour trip home was good. Big thanks to Bill Casey & his family enough for putting the event on. Really enjoyed hanging with the Duffs, Jeff Breckenridge and Derek and Jamie Foreman, even got a ride in the Pony with James Duff. What a great experience!
