Just a note, I am not sure the Hazard switch will handle the current for the low/high beam. The original wiring I think did not use a relay for that function and the total headlight amps go through the floor switch. Not sure the Hazard switch will handle that.

Good point, thanks. I will be checking with a dash wiring poobah before actual installation.

NOTE TO SELF and anyone else inclined to cut and toss: When I do some of this stuff, I am not always sure of where I am going to end up. Case in point - The 1987 F150 column I am using had cruise control, blinkers, shift lever, hazard lights, yada, yada, yada, all in the column. I figured I would only be using the blinker wires and the horn wires, so I considered cutting whatever wires would be extraneous, but stopped myself. I am now going to use the hazard light switch (wires I would have cut) for the high beam/low beam switch to eliminate the Bronco floor button. Glad I did NOT cut and toss.

yeah, never know when you might need something you tossed.... Good job

Awrigiht Buckaroos, gonna shift some gears here and head in a bit of a different direction. Got the Hudsonville Bronco Swap Meet coming up here on May 7. I am aiming to have the Bronc there for the Show n Shine even if it's not shiny or showy or even running. So I'm buttoning a few (quite a few actually) loose ends to have a go at it. Put the flares and a rocker cover on a day or so ago. All this stuff will come off again before paint, so this is kinda like dress rehearsal or practice or something. Gonna use SS button for the flares and the rocker cover. Oh, and I put the tailgate on. Tailgate has two of the three colors I hope to use.

Today, as part of the git 'er gussied up process, I installed the hood vent 'sandwiches' I made. Pretty pleased with how they turned out, considering the amount of trial and mostly error.

No doubt about Mark! Btw, if you're going through withdrawal there on the Southern Oregon coast, you're welcome to swing over to beautiful West Michigan and help me push toward the finish line. That was quite gift to your daughter! Say "Hi" to Lucy.

Finished attaching the flares and rocker covers with SS button head screws. The screws sort of mesh with the poser Method bead lock rims.

Began "reading the fine print" on blinker installation into the roll pan. The blinkers are from 70s-ish Mustangs and Cougars. Continued the SS button-head theme from the flares and rocker covers and hood air vents to attach the plastic housings I'm hoping to use.

Yeah, I'm thinkin' it'll work, 'specially since this is just a practice run of sorts. I do need to add some sort of mounting bracket that is just a bit more adjustable.

Well, that was a doofus mistake! When installing the driver side blinker, I noticed that the blinker pod was for the passenger side. What the....? Checked the installed passenger side and, sure enuff, I had them switched! Doesn't need more adjustment when the right pieces and parts are used!

Sometimes it's three steps forward and two steps back.

Oh, and I re-installed the passenger side header which I had un-installed for some forgotten reason. Here's the view from down-under.

But it's not all forward progress, here's another 'three steps forward, two steps back' occurrence. The mounting bracket I made to install the F150 tilt steering column interferes with the speedo. So, it's back to the drawing board also in that regard.
