I got a couple bins of Bronco parts from a buddy, and I have no idea what this is. Notice it is stamped 73-77 Truck. Anybody know?
Thanks,
Tyler

I have an idea, but would need to see some other angles.
Obviously its not a Ford part. What is the distance between the large holes in the bottom flange?

Jon,
I added more pics.

BTW, the flat bezel NV3550 boot you sent me worked perfect with that shifter cover I have. Thanks for noticing that!

Thank you,
Tyler Doin

Oh wow! I was way off on that one! I thought it was much larger.
Could it be part of an aftermarket power window kit? ((I'm not familiar with the Gen 2 doors)

I should have mentioned it was sitting on a 68 visor for reference in the original pic. It came off of this 75 Bronco: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1975-ford-bronco-36/

I'm gonna look thru all these pics and see if I can figure anything out.

Did it ever have any PTO accessories on it? Maybe it’s a standalone bearing carrier case of some kind. Meant for a multi piece driveshaft.

Not overly robust looking, but it’s about the right size. Odd shape, though. Probably an oddity for an actual Ford truck. And not a bronco.

No PTO. Sure seems like some kind of adapter. Strange bolt pattern.

Did you ask your buddy by any chance??
No, he's not a hands on type and did not pull the parts. I did touch base with the company that did all the work. They are also the one's that put the parts in the bins I got. They were stumped too, but it's been a couple years.

I asked Chatgtp and it came back WTF? Actually it just came back "This suggests it could be an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) automotive part, perhaps from a Ford vehicle or machinery component. The casting and machining details imply it's part of a housing or a bracket—potentially for a bearing, sensor, or mount."

Google image search said it was part of a Cummings hydraulics pump but it would not show that exact part but the parts were close.....

Grok Ai seems to think it's off of a 77 highboy F250, divorced transfer case something, It also kept saying the numbers said 7311 instead of 73-77 so little faith in that. Tried google also and the only picture any of them came back to reference with were the pictures from this chat .

Just for fun, here's a pic of the other side.
