Danny, thanks. I went and checked on the PIF Mustang yesterday. It looks like either Scott Drake or Barrett-Jackson is looking after it as it had been freshly detailed and was opened up for show. Looks outstanding and should bring top money. There really isn't that many early converts so it stands out.

The hood on the stocker was not closed all the way when I took those pictures.

Yes, I saw the triple white and it is a nice truck.

I don't know when the stocker runs for sure, I think Wednesday. Mine and the white one run on Sunday.

I never put together a build post for this one but if you have any questions please ask. The wheels are Mickey Thompson 15x10's with 35/12.5's.

The stock 77 was there when I went to dust off mine. VERY VERY nice. Aftermarket air, but other than that, mostly stock and an excellent restroration.

Sweet Broncos! Big bucks....No Whammies! ;D

This stocker looks real nice, but where's the orange pinstripes! All that hard work to leave out a very visable and critical detail like that? %)

For a true show quality restoration as advertised, he should have got a set of my 100% authentic reproduction Ranger stripe kits! ;D

I was kind of disappointed at first about the Sunday sale date until I got here and all of the other Sunday cars showed up. There are a bunch of extremely nice rides running on Sunday. I talked to several of the BJ folks and they said they are trying to turn Sunday into a bigger day like Friday and Saturday, they just need to keep the buyers over till Sunday, the way they are going to do that, run some of the absolute primo stuff on Sunday.

Yeah I've been watching it, lotta cars not bringing what I would think they would have brought. 3 Broncos, right??, hope they all bring a premium for the sake of our investments!

I went on Monday with my Son and we saw all 3 of the EB's out there....I must say, this year's EB offerings are HANDS DOWN the NICEST examples of the breed that I've seen at Barret Jackson. If last year's EB's are the baseline, then this year's EB's should sell very well. Though I didn't have time to do my typical "buyer's inspection" (my son's 4 years old & wanted to see the "racecars"...said he gets to see Broncos at home), I did get a few minutes to look at each of the 3 and they are all very nice. With the storm we had last night I didn't get to watch the auction, but I think I may head back over there on Sunday to see these go across.

I don't think it's a real Ranger - unless the restoration was intentionally non-stock. The interior is not right - there was no parchment Ranger interior. The grill is not Argent either. And the painted on stripes don't match the way the real ones are layed out very well. Not trying to pick it apart as it looks very well done. Just I don't think it's original Ranger. I guess I'm a Ranger Snob! ;D

I was at Barrett Jackson Monday. I saw yours along with the other two. I really liked yours and the paint job was well done. Good luck on the auction let us know what you get.

Will do and thanks, there is a lot of work in the paint.

I'll look at the Marti report that it posted on the window of the 77 today and see, but I don't think it is a real Ranger.

Scoop, did you see what that Ranger brought?

http://classicbroncos.com/forums/showthread.php?t=154555

On tv they push them in and across the stage, maybe if I had mine there they would not discover that it had NO engine!;D

Makes me plan to be tuned in this weekend to se what the 67' will bring.

Good Luck!

Yeah, I saw that. I wonder what a real Ranger would bring if it were in the same condition? Although it may not have made any difference unless the bidders are knowledgeable Bronco enthusiasts. But I do I think Broncitis' '77 Ranger could bring in more with it's history of judged shows and with the right bidders.
