Chris has it about nailed. I have done it with only the rear locked years ago, if you have decent ability (more than a year or two of good trail experience) and a good feel of your truck you may make it. Without at least a rear locker you'd be hard pressed to make it very far. French Creek is harder than it was when I was up there for the first time in the mid-ninties with only one, Good luck to you.
