These deals are always the same: someone "forgets" to send the merchandise, or is "too busy" or has some "tragedy" befall them. Then when the buyer calls, phones, and writes and can't get a response, they come here in frustration and start warning the other users to not do business. (In the old days they called it word of mouth advertising, or reputation.)
At which point the seller conveniently checks email for the first time in ages, finds their name being used, and immediately explains why he/she was not able to complete the transaction as described.
Sorry but that's how I read this. I've said this before: If it were me, i'd make a fair effort to contact them and if I got no response I'd bounce down to the courthouse and file a civil claim against them, which will cause the judge to issue a subpoena or similar order to appear in court and answer the claim against them. Most deadbeats will space this off since it costs money to appear in court on command. Once they refuse to appear, many judges will now get pissed for being dissed, and in most cases will issue a show cause or contempt order, which usually results in more ignoring. Eventually the judge issues a warrant for contempt, and iv'e seen people actually be arrested and transported in handcuffs to jail for contempt. THis works really good if the seller is thousands of miles away, since one minute he's driving down the street listening to tunes; then next he's being transported to another state to appear before a very cranky judge. Imagine being ordered to travel to court in another state because you were too busy to ship a 300 dollar intake manifold. Oh yeah, and once you get out of court you have to find your way home somehow...
Just sayin...
