Hi,I just bought my first bronco and I'm new the site. I'll have lots of questions so thanks in advance for any help I might get.
For now I have a 75 bronco that i want to change over to disc in the front.I found a 78 bronco with disc on it and I need to know if I need the steering knuckle from the 78 or can i just use my stock knuckle?Looks like my 75 has a dana 44 in it.
I had told the guy I only needed the rotors, backing plate,hub/spindle and calipers but now I wondering if I need the steering knuckles also..I was hoping I didn't because it looks like new ball joints were installed already..
thanks,Shawn

you'll need the knuckles too. may as well go ahead and put new ball joints in those too since they're apart. you'll also need a new tie rod, the length will be about 3" longer.

DANG, all 3 of us posted at once!

Thanks guys..I was hoping I didn't have to go that far but I will..I think I'll take on the power steering conversion first though as I'm just getting parts as they come available..Let the fun begin!!
thanks again,Shawn

If the guy was going to let you have all those parts, see if you can get the complete 78 D44. You would then have almost everything you need to make the conversion. Then you would only have to worry about the tie rod setup.
