• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

I have been looking for a decent Bronco for my first daily driver and saw this one, and after reading this thread makes me question this Eb, for it says no rust, obvious rust on corners of bumper and inner door corners, and its the persons first ever sell.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/EARL...Cars_Trucks&hash=item2a2edf3eb4#ht_500wt_1182

Any advice on whether this is a decent one or if I should pass on it would be very appreciated.

You should start a new thread, as this seller is NOT suspected to be our old friend SNS, being that this truck is located in CA.

To address your question briefly, that small amount you see is no way indicative of what you can expect to see on the body. Best way to tell is to see it in person. If not you, then somebody you trust. Never buy a truck off of ebay without having it personally inspected.

Hey, JClaytor - one more note before we get back to this thread....
Honestly, try to work with some of the want ads here - most of these guys not only know their stuff, but they hate fakers who "turn" EB's with no love! Most members here will shoot straight with you - and they'll help you with instructions on projects and upgrades - best site on the net for EB's!

I wonder what he has against seat belts?? Seems like none of his Broncos have them! I can't believe someone bid $12K on that thing, I'm no expert, but it's a train wreck! But, SNS can get them bid up and I guess he dumped this one, until it got dumped back on him! %)

Looks like that 50% feedback score will bring on another seller name, from another city with the same broke ass backwards date camera.

Guys,

Been looking at bronco rebuilds done by 2 brothers in the Pensacola area, ebay listings under mckenna102408, item number 121142211969 ebay motors. Spoke to guy, seem like good people but Pensacola is near where your guy sells. Think there is any connection. Thanks, cusmon

From the pictures it looks like a quality build but I would still inspect it in person especially when paying that much for one.

He's got a good feedback score, so I'd guess it's not the same fella.

That being said, I owned that bronco for 5 days last month. It's a very nice, very solid rig for the money, IMHO. I bought it from a guy in Louisiana on July 2nd and brought it home to Houston. I took it to have in inspected on the 3rd. Found out that the VIN (on the frame) didn't match the title. Not the end of the world, but a hassle in the state of Texas that I dang sure didn't want to have to deal with. The guy I bought it from was sick about it (he didn't know), but he did the stand-up thing & gave me my cash back. Apparently, this dude in Arkansas bought it from the guy who originally sold it to me. Arky dude put new wheels & tires on it, as well as the pinstriping. I'd say if you're willing to deal with the VIN issue (assuming he hasn't resolved it), it's a pretty dang good buy.
