Bax, seems you know both the Affordable system and the FAST system. Which of these two would you recommend for a slightly modified 302? Slightly modified is little bit of cam for more torque and a new intake.

I was leaning toward Affordable since it is my understanding all the parts are stock chevy stuff I can get anywhere.

VERY interested in your take on using one over the other. I had been leaning towards the affordable efi.

OK back to this after my heart problems got fixed. It's good to be here. As you know I was having problems with the pump provided in the kit. my recommendation is to buy the kit without the pump or get the upgraded pump that FAST puts on the higher HP kits. I just finished this today. FAST said they would take the pump back and replace it. I wanted a better pump. So I got return approval on the pump and bought a better pump from Jegs. I also bought a better Mallory fuel filter. Then because I dont like the placement of the pump I installed a pusher pump. This is a 7 pound pump that will aid in supply to the high pressure pump. It is located as close to the tank as possible. I wired the 2 pumps together. The system works great. No pump noise real good pressure with little pressure drop under load. Truck runs great, still a little rich at idle but it is hitting its programed A/F target. So I may change the target. I may not. I think some driving would help it to learn. since I can't drive at the moment I had a friend drive it around. He said it runs great. Hit the key and it starts cold or hot. idles good and recovers good with a fast let off of the gas ( hard breaking) This motor is a 5.0 crate motor from summit. It has a comp cams 270 hr in it ( Lumpy). Aluminum svo heads, headers and a performer style intake. The injection system handles the non stock set up just fine.

Yeah! You've been dealing with pumps and pumpers (and filters even) on both fronts!
Glad they're both still here and pumping up a storm.
Try to keep it that way please...

When you say Pusher Pump, are you talking about a low pressure electric fuel pump?
