I haven't seen anything recent about converting front drum brakes to disc. What seems to be the best current kits considering price and ease of installation?

Price and ease, the GM conversion will still win.
Leeds (Leads?) has a new kit out with a bigger rotor off a Dodge and late model F150 calipers that is worth looking at.
Wilwood still has new stuff that they are proud of, I feel pointless in the small rotor department, but worth a look if you want big rotors and have deep pockets.
Duff still has the Ford knuckle clone option they have had for decades.

With todays market, I would look at the Leeds kit, with the GM stuff as default backup.

If you don't mind spending more one of the kits are easiest and fastest. If you have large tires and drive fast you may want to get the big rotor kit. I went gm conversion years ago scavenging parts from picnpul on half price day. It was cheap, works fine and I like shopping at picnpul. Plus I'll never have bigger than 31" tires and don't drive my Bronco fast with the six cylinder.

Thanks for the quick responses. I'm currently looking at some options in Jeff's Bronco.

I recently installed the GM kit from Tom's. Simple and effective. As noted above, with 31" tires it's all my Bronco will ever need.

I suspect pretty much all of the GM kits are essentially the same, so with shipping costs what they are these days, find the closest vendor to keep freight cost down.

I forgot to add that I picked up an F250 master cylinder for the disc brake swap at picnpul because my 66 had the single res master cylinder. Pedal pressure is firm but stops well and it does not need a proportioning valve maybe I just got lucky with that. I have a power booster kit for it that is still in box but will be a nice addition.
